1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to retain and, depending on their configuration, send with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that keeps values for a website’s origin without automatically attaching them to ordinary page requests. Privacy rules can apply to both technologies even though they work differently.
QuickInvoice Studio uses local storage to remember your consent choice. The application itself does not set HTTP cookies. The table below describes the storage implemented by this static build, rather than suggesting that optional services are present when they are not.
2. Storage inventory
| Category | Name / technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | storyporch-cookie-consent-v1 / localStorage | Remembers essential and optional category choices, version and choice timestamp. | 180 days for application use; earlier if cleared. |
| Analytics | None set | No audience measurement or behavior tracking is deployed. | Not applicable |
| Functional | None set | No saved invoice drafts, customer profiles or optional personalization. | Not applicable |
The essential record contains no invoice descriptions, customer addresses, payment details or email-message content. Local storage has no native expiry timer, so the application checks the timestamp on a later visit and discards an expired record. It can remain on an unused device until that visit or until you clear site data.
3. Make or change your choice
“Accept All” records agreement to the listed optional categories. “Reject Non-Essential” records those categories as off. “Preferences” lets you choose them individually while essential preference storage remains enabled. Because no optional services are currently implemented, accepting does not cause an analytics script or other third-party service to load.
You can reopen the panel with the button below or the footer’s Cookie preferences control. Saving a new preference replaces the previous record. The banner will not reappear during ordinary navigation while a valid choice is available. Clearing site data, using a different browser profile or reaching the expiry period can make it appear again.
4. Browser opt-out and removal
In Chrome, open Settings, then Privacy and security, and find the site-data controls under site settings or third-party cookies. Search for storyporchpckbrd.shop and remove its stored data. In Edge, use Settings and the cookies or site-permissions controls to view and remove site data. Menu labels can change between browser versions.
In Firefox, open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data, and use Manage Data to locate and remove this site. In Safari on macOS, open Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data. On iPhone or iPad, website data controls are available within Safari’s settings, including its advanced options.
Blocking storage does not prevent the in-memory invoice calculations, but your choice may not persist and the banner may return. Private browsing often clears storage when the private session ends. Save invoice work before clearing or reloading a page because the draft itself is not retained.
5. Third parties and future changes
This implementation has no embedded third-party map, external image request, analytics library or advertising integration. Hosting infrastructure could introduce additional behavior that is not configured by these files; the actual operator must review its deployed service and update this inventory accordingly. New optional purposes require a fresh, appropriate consent process rather than reliance on a historic unused-category setting.
